Biography

Lynora Bowen’s passion for organizational transformation work, her commitment to building organizational capability, her collaborative working style, her skill at coaching others and her insights are themes in her work.  Lynora served in a variety of human resources, operations and technical leadership roles throughout her extensive corporate career.
Lynora began her career as a Process Development Engineer at the large manufacturing site.  She progressed through a number manufacturing supervisory and technical roles.  She became the Organizational Effectiveness Strategic leader for the site, leading the creating and implementation of organizational development strategies for transitioning the site from traditional to high performance work systems.  In mid-career, Lynora shifted to Human Resources.  She held numerous site, Regional and corporate Human Resources positions.  In these roles, she worked with a cross-section of associates and coached senior leaders.  She became an internal consultant providing Change Management consultation, primarily aimed shifting mindsets and behaviors needed to support business and functional improvement.
Lynora earned her Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Textile Technology with an emphasis on engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.  She is a certified Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator, a certified Appreciative Inquiry Coach, and a certified Appreciative Inquiry Trainer.   She successfully completed the EQ-i 2.0/ EQ 360 Certification Program.  She is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and holds both Green Belt and Black Belt Six Sigma Certifications.
Lynora also serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Emotional Intelligence, North Florida Chapter.  In her role as Strategic Advisor, she uses Appreciative Inquiry to develop the Chapter and its work.
