Biography

As a Transformation Consultant, Angela Greenwald, Ph.D., brings her energy and strength-based approach to business and community organizations. She is an engaging and enthusiastic facilitator, trainer, and coach who believes that positive, adaptive leaders can inspire small and large system change through their ability to be in the “balcony and dance.”  Her aspiration is to help leaders and their organizations build upon their strengths by engaging others in conversation and living into their best possibilities.

Angela has worked with hundreds of individuals, teams, and businesses as an external and internal consultant, focusing on strategic planning, leadership and team development and coaching. Her background in positive psychology, counseling and leadership development enable her to bring a unique holistic perspective using Appreciative Inquiry principles in her work. She designs and facilitates programs for organizations in the public, private and national, state and local government sectors, higher education, law enforcement and faith-based organizations.  Her enthusiasm and experience enable Angela to bring system-based solutions to diverse groups and situations, helping them to achieve the results they desire.

She has held leadership roles in Organizational and Leadership Development, Strategic Planning, Corporate Operations, and Employee Assistance and has led teams in their individual and organizational transformational efforts. Angela served as an adjunct Professor of Psychology and has held leadership roles on not-for-profit Boards of Directors and Councils. She has received many awards throughout her career for her commitment and dedication to her profession, to underserved populations, and for community service.

Angela holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development, a Master of Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Appreciative Inquiry Trainer, Facilitator and Coach, and Certified Counselor of Mental Health. She holds a certificate in Organization Design from USC, as well as certifications associated with organizational and personal assessment tools which she applies in her work.  Angela is a life-long learner whose vision is to bring innovative, collaborative strategies to all people to improve life.
